Broadcasting hope and strength to persecuted believers in Southeastern Africa – where faith and encouragement often come with a radio.

Across Southeastern Africa – in Malawi, Tanzania, and Mozambique – many are hearing the name of Jesus in their own language for the very first time.

For those who choose to follow Him, the cost is high: rejection, isolation, even violence.

Yet hearts are open.

Your support today will put radios and audio Bibles into villages where people are ready to hear and believe, and equip leaders to disciple new believers so faith can grow strong in the face of persecution.

Faith like Mesi

New believers standing firm in the face of hostility.

The angry mob surged forward, hurling insults and pushing Mesi* to the ground, throwing water in her face. Her “crime” was saying yes to Jesus.

Raised in the Muslim faith, Mesi first heard the Gospel on a radio broadcast in her own language. Choosing Christ meant turning away from everything she had known – and enduring mockery and violence. But she stood firm in her new decision.

Faith like Mesi’s doesn’t come out of nowhere. It grows from hearing God’s Word and being able to respond. There is a growing desire across Southeastern Africa to hear more – but many still have no way to listen.

Your support will place radios into waiting hands, so more people like Mesi can hear God’s Word, choose Christ, and stand firm in their faith.

Padma sq

Strength to endure

Persecuted believers encouraged by trusted local voices.

Some listeners, like Padma*, have been following Jesus for years but still face constant challenges for speaking His name. Padma’s family deserted her, and her village elders beat her. Still, she remains steadfast, encouraged by the voices on FEBC broadcasts who understand her suffering.

That is why genuinely local broadcasting is so important.

FEBC’s stations are staffed by local believers who face the same challenges and can offer Biblical perspectives that resonate deeply. Their voices are trusted. Their messages are relevant. Through them, hearts are softened and faith is strengthened.

You can keep trusted local voices on air, bringing persecuted believers like Padma the courage and encouragement they need to remain steadfast in their faith.

Listener Clubs

Changing an entire village with one radio.

A Listener Club is a gathering of villagers who come together regularly to listen to FEBC broadcasts, hear the Bible, and learn how to follow Jesus in their everyday lives.

A Club begins with a single fixed-frequency radio or audio Bible placed in the hands of a trained leader. Each Club can reach up to 50 people. The leader is supported by an area manager, dedicated broadcast times, and call-in opportunities – all designed to equip them to disciple others.

In many rural villages, the Listener Club becomes the church.

One radio can transform an entire village. Leaders are ready now to start new Listener Clubs, but they are waiting for radios and resources to get started.

When you make a gift today, you will equip leaders with radios and resources, so new Listener Clubs can begin and believers can grow strong in their faith together.
