My church was forced to close.

This morning I read a message from one of our listeners on Mainland China. This listener is a graduate of our Bible College by Media. It’s called Liangyou Theological Seminary, and thanks to people like you, FEBC New Zealand supports 100 students through the programme every year.

“The church has announced that no party member or non-adults are allowed to go to the church anymore. I don’t want to add trouble to the church, therefore my niece and I have stopped going to the church. The church in my village was forced to close down too and we are now gathering in a shed for the pigs.

The church people asked me to preach to them. I am a bit nervous as I have only completed my diploma study of  Liangyou Theological Seminary.”

Please pray for the LTS students and graduates like this one, that they will be strong and courageous to serve the Lord in these challenging times.

“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14

China is home to 1.3 billion people, more than any other country. Pray for faith, hope and love to overflow from the body of Christ.
