Important update: Staying on mission, staying on purpose
From 1 April 2026, FEBC New Zealand is operating under a new charitable trust and new bank account.
What you need to know
Our Board has established a new charitable trust called FEBC Aotearoa New Zealand, and as part of that change, we now have a new bank account for donations. Our new Charities Services registration number is CC62274.
In summary, we have updated our structure without changing our focus.
This change strengthens our evangelical purposes, aligns clearly with updated New Zealand charity requirements, and future-proofs our international mission.
We’re still the same people behind the scenes, fully committed to the mission of communicating Christ to the world by media.
Updating our bank account
- If you donate online or by phone via credit or debit card, you do not need to do anything differently.
- If you give by internet banking or have an automatic payment set up, please update your bank details from 1 April 2026.
- If you are a Dedicated Broadcaster with a direct debit in place we will contact you to update this.
New account name: FEBC
New account number: 03-0318-0090704-000
Please note where you would like your gift allocated, as we are legally required to follow your written instructions.
- Particulars: Your Supporter ID
- Reference: WMN (Where most needed) or NZ Ministry (Tax-credit eligible)
NB: Our full bank account name is ‘FEBCNZ Ministry Fund’; however, using the short name ‘FEBC’ for internet banking is recognised and legally accepted.
During the transition period, donations to our previous account will still reach us. We will simply contact you to help update your records.
If at any time you are unsure, please contact us.
Why have we established a new trust?
This change follows updates to New Zealand charity laws in recent years – it does not reflect any change in direction, theology, partnerships, or leadership.
After careful consideration, our Board established a new charitable trust rather than amend the existing one. This has allowed us to:
- Align more clearly with our gospel-centred purposes
- Strengthen our governance structure
- Ensure full compliance with updated charity requirements
- Future-proof our international mission
We remain fully committed to our mission of communicating Christ to the world by media.
Admin update: Receipts and acknowledgement
From 1 April 2026, we are moving to annual receipting.
We will continue to gratefully acknowledge donations regularly. Gifts received will be processed immediately and acknowledged the following week. Where possible, we will acknowledge donations by email, but if you do not wish to use email, that is absolutely fine – please allow extra time for the post.
If we do not currently have your email address, we would be grateful if you could share it with us at: hello@febc.nz
These changes help reduce administrative costs and steward your support carefully.
If at any time you would like to confirm that we have received your donation, please contact us on 0800 433 226 or hello@febc.nz
Including FEBC in your Will
If you are one of the generous supporters who has already included FEBC in your Will – or intends to – thank you. You are creating a legacy that will speak hope beyond your lifetime, communicating faith, hope, and love in Christ for generations to come.
Please instruct your lawyer or trusted advisor to update the trust name and charity services number at your earliest convenience. You can download the details HERE.
