Protecting Children in Cambodia.

You and FEBC New Zealand are helping to nurture and protect children in Cambodia, with a new weekly programme.

Called “Child Wellbeing,” Family FM has developed this popular new broadcast that will also include a gathering of ministries and families for an annual Resource Fair and Family Seminar.

UNICEF identifies several challenges for children in Cambodia including violence, child labour, trafficking, health, and legal protection. Our new programme is carefully produced for parents, caregivers, and neighbours, to educate and inspire for children’s wellbeing.

A listener in Kampong Thom recently rescued an abused child because of this programme, and thanks to you.

“When your programme explained the hidden signs of abuse, the lights went on in my head. I realised a child in my neighbourhood was showing those exact signs! Because of ‘Child Wellbeing’ I didn’t remain silent. I sought help with the parents and a community group. Together we saved their child from ongoing harm.  Thank you Family FM for standing up for the voiceless.”
