Peace be with Yemen

Where only radio can reach.

This Easter, your gift will help broadcast daily programmes into Yemen that share the peace of Jesus with people living in fear and isolation.

Behind closed doors

People in Yemen live in fear amid civil war and a humanitarian disaster. In a society dominated by Islam, exploring anything outside the majority religion can cost them everything.

They are isolated and afraid, desperate for peace but with no safe way to seek it openly.

You can change that with radio.

How to give

You can donate via credit card by entering your details on our secure page HERE, or phone us on 0800 433 226 in usual office hours.

Radio reaches behind closed doors so people listening in secret can hear about the peace Jesus offers.

The same words Jesus spoke to His fearful disciples, who were hiding behind locked doors (John 20:19), need to be heard today in Yemen: “Peace be with you.”

Your gift will help secure daily shortwave broadcasts into Yemen, produce radio programmes that share Scripture and speak to everyday struggles, and resource follow-up teams who respond to listeners with prayer and guidance.

Will you share the very words of Jesus with a lonely and frightened listener in Yemen this Easter: “Peace be with you.”

Peace in hiding

Alone and afraid for her life, Mira* had no safe place to turn. That was when she was introduced to FEBC radio broadcasts. In those dark moments, radio became her lifeline, offering her something to hold on to.

Listening in secret, Mira heard about Jesus and the peace He offers. That peace has become her anchor as she faces life.

Mira’s story is not unique. Across Yemen, others are quietly searching for peace in the midst of fear.

Your support ensures that when someone dares to listen, they hear daily broadcasts that share Scripture and offer a Biblical perspective to their everyday struggles, helping them feel less alone. For those who are brave enough to learn more, trained teams respond discreetly via secure messaging app, WhatsApp, offering prayer and guidance.

Where only radio can reach

Yemen sits at the southern end of the Arabian Peninsula and remains one of the world’s most severe humanitarian crises. Years of conflict have left ordinary people with little freedom in their daily lives. Faith is enforced, not freely chosen.

That is why radio matters. Radio is one of the only safe and reliable ways to reach people in a highly restricted environment. In a country where internet access is limited and often unreliable, radio consistently reaches listeners across cities, villages, and remote areas.

Shortwave radio crosses borders without relying on local infrastructure. It does not require internet access, mobile data, or registration. That means listeners can remain anonymous for as long as they need. They can hear Scripture, reflect, and consider the message before deciding whether to take another step.

Your support keeps these broadcasts on air and ensures that when someone reaches out, there is a trusted team ready to respond.

Thank you for your generosity. If this project receives more than needed, extra funds will be used for a similar FEBC project where the need is greatest.
