Young people hearing and deciding in Mozambique
God is using your faithful support to reach the hearts of young people in Africa. In July alone, 43 orphans put their faith in Christ after listening!
A special initiative in Mozambique gives young people the opportunity to produce radio programmes in various local language, like Nyanja, Chiyao, and Emakhuwa. They share Bible stories and speak directly to the challenges their peers face.
Their listeners hear young voices they can relate to. Many are turning towards Jesus.
Like former gang member João, who told us, “I left everything I was doing, including robbing people and killing, after hearing the broadcasts.” He is now discipling other young people, and after hearing his testimony, João’s former gangmates have also accepted Christ.
Many Muslim parents encourage their children to be part of the broadcasts. Through hearing their children on-air, they, too, are coming to Christ.
Your partnership makes it possible for young relatable voices to reach hearts that might otherwise never hear the hope of Jesus. Thank you.
